Five things

Happy Friday! It’s been a bit of a rough week around here. Tuesday afternoon Parker came home from school with a stomach bug and within six hours three out of four of us were down for the count. We haven’t been that sick in a very long time.  Thankfully we’re on the upswing and getting back to normal. I can say that it is very difficult to take care of yourself plus kids when you’re that sick. This was definitely one time we wished we had family near by.

We don’t have a ton to talk about today so we thought we would take it easy. I saw this survey the other day on Janae’s blog and it looked like fun to play along.

  1. We had that same illness go through our house too. I haven’t thrown up like that in a long time and I hope I don’t for an even longer time!! It was horrible. Luckily my hubby didn’t get it, but me and the 2 kids did.

I really want to go to Ireland someday too, I totally think Coffee is a FOOD, I wish I could sew too; I can’t even sew on a button, I like running quote #4 the best; I try to remind myself of all the people who can’t run when I don’t feel like it, I have Meb’s book, Meb for Mortals on my reading list too, I need to read it, love that you play the song from Little Mermaid over and over! My son loves “How I met your mother”, I love the show Bones too!

  2. Off topic, but there are a few running buddies who meet every Sunday for group runs in Canton. None of us are as fast as Travis, but if you’re ever interested, we’d love to have you join us. We don’t all go the same distances and speeds, we generally split up into sub groups based upon everyone’s goals for the day. Last week’s disatnces ranged from 3.5 to 12.5.
